All of the Days of the Year

The days of spring

Are just so fine

They lengthen out

And become mine

The days of summer

Can get real hot

But I’d rather have them

Than not

The days of fall

Are melancholy

As we wait the days of holy

The days of winter

Give us all a break

From gardens to tend

And lawns to rake

All of the days

Of every year

Have at least one thing

To make me cheer
